Solemn spaces, tranquil retreats; Aerosol’s All That is Solid Melts Into Air pulls gravity filled melodies and gently brushes them with layers of nostalgic bubbles. Floating gracefully from these channels of undulating ambience comes a particular stream of faded moments as Aerosol blends slow moving sheets of ice along dried-out twigs and brush. These orchestral strands prevail throughout; coming across like connected pieces vying to create a bigger picture. Not entirely beatless in nature, All That is Solid Melts Into Air animates minimal-clicks around a lighthearted pitter-pater as warm synthetic drones cascade with amplified tones. Aerosol quite simply offers listeners drifting instrumental calmness that subliminally pierces the heart.
