Daniel McCagh

Daniel McCagh is an electronic music producer and sound artist currently residing in Melbourne, Australia. McCagh uses a mix of acoustic instruments and digital manipulation to create emotive and cinematic music. Heavily influenced by organic textures and wall-of-sound aesthetics, his work is best described as a dense, layered, and undulating sound bath. McCagh is, most notably, the sole composer and sound designer behind Gutterbox Audio, having composed music and designed sound for global companies such as Polestar, Huawei, Acura and Volkswagen. His debut full-length Altered States is being released by the quality-minded US west coast emotional electronics imprint n5MD in April of 2020.
