Gimmik

Moments before the pandemic hit full-scale last year n5MD teamed up with Martin Haidinger to bring you the return of his Gimmik project. This reinstatement was by way of Entre Les Chambres, an album that featured two long-form ambient drone pieces that featured outstretched Gimmik themes. Now, n5MD, in conjunction with Gimmik, is proud to bring you Deux Nouvelles. Being a logical progression, Haidinger composed this album as a "part two" of Entre Les Chambres. Deux Nouvelles features two twenty-minute beatless ambient pieces created with tranquility and relaxation as its true aim. Pastoral and discreet by nature. Deux Nouvelles was conceptualized with mostly analog outboard gear. The album will be released on a limited cassette in a suede bag inside a hand-folded insert. Each insert has a different vintage postal stamp and is hand-numbered. The tape also contains a download card and is limited to only 50 units worldwide. Deux Nouvelles is a warm, thoughtful conciliation before the pending release of his full-length Cloudwalker double LP due out later in 2021. Learn more about Gimmik
